Assessment of Language Competence Certificates (ALC)

The 2010 Assessment of Language Competence Certificates will be held from August 3 to August 5. This is an international testing program developed annually by the Australian Council for Educational Research. The program consists of multiple choice tests in reading and listening offered at various levels in six languages. Participants receive a certificate and an analysis of their results. The competition is open to all students at a cost of $9 for Certificate 1 level (listening only test) and $12 for Certificate 2 and Certificate 3 levels.

Past tests
To purchase copies of past tests send an email to alc@acer.edu.au requesting
the language, level and year you are interested in.
The cost is $15 per Certificate 1 test and $30 for the Certificate 2 and 3 test, including the question booklet,
tape or audio CD and postage and handling. An
invoice will be sent with the materials or you may
pay over the phone with a credit card.
Note: Orders for five or more copies of past tests are charged at the lower cost of $10 for Certficate 1 and $20 for Certficate 2 and 3.
