Online Registration

The administration for ALSET (also known as DULSAT) and STAT is managed through the same team at ACER, and test sittings are run in conjunction with each other, so these online registration pages have been titled STAT/ALSET Registration System. You will be applying for either ALSET or STAT.

Candidates should note that all correspondence will be conducted via email. It is essential that candidates can provide and have access to a functional email address.

Preparation Materials

ALSET preparation materials are sent to overseas candidates by airmail, which may take up to 14 days. We recommend that only in circumstances where applications are lodged with limited time prior to the test date, or if local postal services are unreliable, that candidates nominate to have their preparation materials sent by courier. Please note that an additional fee applies to candidates who request the use of a courier.

The preparation materials for special sittings in Melbourne are sent by ordinary mail. Candidates may choose to pay extra for Express Post delivery.

ALSET Results

ACER sends your results directly to the institution nominated on your application form within five days of the answer sheet arriving at ACER. ACER does not release results directly to candidates, instead, they are sent out by VTAC 5 - 6 weeks after the test. Results are sent to your permanent home address (preferably an Australian address) rather than to your travelling address.
