The current reporting cycle is for enrolments in the 2014 calendar year, with reports due to ASQA (or a state regulator where applicable) by the 30th of June, 2015.
Please ensure that you submit your survey data to AQIS before the 31st of May, 2015, to ensure that there is enough time for us to process it and produce your reports before the June deadline.
As a condition of registration, RTOs must report against three quality indicators: Learner Engagement, Employer Satisfaction and Competency Completion. The AQTF Quality Indicator Service (AQIS) supports RTOs to collect, analyse and report against the the AQTF Learner Engagement and Employer Satisfaction indicators, while NCVER maintains the Competency Completion Online System (CCOS).
AQIS provides an enhanced version of the reporting generated in the previous SMART system. In addition to standard AQTF reports, RTOs joining AQIS will have access to valuable national and like-RTO benchmark reports for an annual registration fee.
AQIS reporting cycles
The reporting cycle run alongside the financial year, ending each June. The period being reported on, however, is the calendar year.
AQIS is currently accepting registrations for the 2013 reporting cycle, where RTOs are required to report on the period 1 Jan 2013 to 31 Dec 2013, the report for this cycle must be submitted to your registering body by 30 June 2014.
AQIS development in 2015
With continuing demand for high quality data to support organisations in the implementation of evidence-based policies and practices to drive continuous improvement, we plan to develop our range of Quality Indicator services. This will include enhanced reporting, additional survey tool, resources supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement, and seminars and professional development events.
The aqis team would like to hear from any RTOs interested in participating in focus groups running from August 2014 firstname.lastname@example.org
