Who Should Attend

Effective leadership at the tertiary level is largely contingent on a collaborative distributed / organic model. This requires that at all levels academics not only understand the how and why of institutional machinations, but also take ownership and position themselves to play strategic roles within their local context.

The HEAC Workshops are designed for a broad target audience including but not limited to:

• course program leaders
• teaching and learning coordinators
• academics with teaching roles
• teaching support staff and
• assessment personnel.

Higher education collaborations rely on distributed leadership in order to build capacity and capitalise on the many opportunities that lie ahead of us. These workshops are excellent opportunities for participants to take a lead role in assessment.

Course/program coordinators who can adapt the activities to their local context and interact within established networks are strongly encouraged to attend.
