Australasian Survey of Student Engagement (AUSSE)

The AUSSE team

A team of research and support staff manage the AUSSE at ACER. Dr Hamish Coates is the AUSSE Project Director. Hamish is supported by a team of psychometricians, software developers, sampling technicians and other project support staff. The team brings together individuals with considerable expertise in the design and management of large-scale education surveys.

Advisory group

The AUSSE is overseen by an Advisory Group which brings extensive technical, institutional and educational expertise to the development. Group members for 2007 and 2008 include:

The Advisory Group meets at key points to help shape the project.
