English Language Skills Assessment
Introduction
The English Language Skills Assessment is a secure web-based test of English language proficiency that provides instant feedback to teaching staff.
The test has been designed by ACER for tertiary students entering degree and TAFE courses.
The purpose of the test is to:
- identify students who will require English language support in order to be successful in either a degree or TAFE course.
- provide instant feedback on the nature of the teaching support required.
The individual student report has been designed to provide detailed information about what students are able to do. This information helps teaching staff to provide support that addresses the needs of each student.
