2009 National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN)
The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is seeking Expressions of Interest from practising teachers and recently retired or casually employed teachers to participate in the marking of student Writing Task responses from the 2009 National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). All teachers should have knowledge of grammar and an understanding of criterion-based marking.
In 2009 the marking of the NAPLAN Writing Task will be completed in an “on-line” computer-based environment.
The marking will take place in two locations. The main centre will be located at the ACER office in Alexandria. Another centre will be located in Canberra, which will operate under local conditions. Successful applicants will be required to attend for the full duration of the marking operation.
