About the conference

ACER presents this inaugural Excellence in Professional Practice conference for teachers. This conference celebrates excellence in teachers’ professional practice by drawing together educators from across Australia to observe, listen, share expertise and learn from one another. The 2013 conference theme will showcase best practice in teaching the Australian Curriculum from classrooms across the country. A full program of nominated presentations will be available in November 2012 on the conference website.

The conference will combine:

• inspiring keynote presentations;
• workshops sessions demonstrating
• excellence and innovation in the classroom;
• poster presentations demonstrating and  discussing leading classroom practice; and
• casual and formal networking opportunities including ‘birds of a feather’ sessions.

This teacher-focused conference will support collaboration and knowledge sharing in a friendly, informal and lively atmosphere.
