Employment Strategy

ACER engages in research on the education of Indigenous Australians and, because of the linkage between education and work, ACER is also interested in employment outcomes for Indigenous Australians. Accordingly, ACER is committed to efforts towards making a practical difference in the lives of Indigenous Australians in these two regards – education and work. ACER’s Indigenous Employment Strategy (AIES) was endorsed by the Board of Directors in 2007. We are in the process of updating the AIES in accordance with ACER’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
