Australia-Indonesia Basic Education Program: Item Development Training
ACER provided specialist subject based training of trainers workshop courses for staff from the National Assessment Centre and the P4TKs and LPMPs for mathematics, science, English language and social science at both Primary and Junior Secondary levels. Helen Lye, Mark Butler, Andrew Hay and Greg Reid from ACER conducted four workshops (15 trainees in each) for five days each in Jakart and Jogjakarta throughout January and February 2008. They also submitted a report and recommendations for upgrading and implementing a better quality and more effective national school examinations system for Indonesia.
