Development of Assessment Standards, Chile
The consultancy for Chile is a small, ongoing consultancy that has grown out of work begun in 2002. The current work involves the development of a standards based curriculum and assessment system in Chile. At present the consultancy is focusing on the refinement of outcomes frameworks for Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and English. Assistance is also being provided to align the national monitoring program (SIMCE) with the standards and to set cut-scores on the SIMCE tests.
