Dates

ISA 2008–9 Test Administration Dates for Schools

Schools have the option of administering the ISA 2008-2009 in EITHER October 2008 OR February 2009. Please note that schools cannot register to sit in both October and February.

October Administration

The ISA testing period for October 2008 is: Monday 6 October to Friday 17 October 2008 (with option of October 20 - 24 if the testing window falls during school vacation).

February Administration

The ISA testing period for February 2009 is: Monday 2 February to Friday 13 February 2009 (with option of February 16 - 20 if the testing window falls during school vacation).

Test materials will be dispatched to arrive at schools at least one week before the beginning of the testing period. ACER will cover the courier costs associated with the delivery of test materials to schools.

Schools must register by:

  • June 30 (October administration) *Registrations still being accepted*
  • October 31 (February administration)
 

Schools must confirm* their registration by:

  • August 27 (October administration)
  • December 7 (February administration)

* Schools will be contacted to confirm their participating student numbers and other details.  Test material will not be sent until these details are confirmed.

 

Return of Test Materials to ACER

All used and unused Student Booklets should be returned to ACER as soon as the assessment is complete. Materials must arrive back at ACER no later than:

  • October administration: October 24 (or October 31 if school tests during the later week of October 20-24)
  • February administration: February 20 (or February 27 if school tests during the later week of February 16-20)

Schools are responsible for the courier costs associated with the return of test materials to ACER.

Delivery of Results

ISA student, class and school reports will be delivered electronically:

  • end of January 2009 (October Administration)
  • mid-May 2009 (February Administration)

ISA Interactive Report

In order to avoid a late ordering fee, the ISA Interactive Report must be ordered by:

  • 15 January 2009 (ISA October 2008 schools)
  • 30 April 2009 (ISA February 2009 schools)

Invoices

Schools will be invoiced for participation in the ISA in:

  • February 2009 (October Administration)
  • June 2009 (February administration)
