Information Handbook

The ISA 2010–11 Information Handbook for Participating Schools is emailed to schools after they register for ISA 2010–11 and contains administrative information and schedules for ISA October 2010 and ISA February 2011. It is provided to registered schools only.

Timing

The above handbooks detail timing for each part of the ISA by grade level. Schools will need to set aside two mornings for the assessments during the testing period. Any two mornings may be chosen, but note that for reasons of test security, the assessments must be administered at the same time to all students within the school who are taking the ISA, regardless of Grade level.

The tests should be administered in the morning, while students are fresh. It is expected that students will have a 15 to 30 minute break between each of the three testing sessions on the first morning, and one 15 to 30 minute break between the two testing sessions on the second morning.
