ISAT is administered as a remote computer-based test through ProctorU. Test takers can sit ISAT from any suitable location that meets the technical requirements of the test.

The registration fee for ISAT is AUD427. Payment is made to ACER at the time of registration.

Involves comprehending and analysing information, understanding, applying and extending ideas, drawing appropriate conclusions, and evaluating arguments. These questions use material from the humanities and social sciences.
Quantitative reasoning
Involves analysis and application of information, drawing conclusions and making decisions, and solving problems. These questions use material from the mathematics and sciences.
