About the library

The vast resources of Cunningham Library offer the researcher the essential information required to make informed decisions.  Cunningham Library holds the most comprehensive and up to date collection of educational research documents in Australia, including

  • Books - 50 000 titles, both Australian and overseas
  • Journals - over 400 Australian and overseas titles in print and over 2500 titles including online journals
  • Educational reports and conference proceedings

The collection includes information relevant to all education sectors, including early childhood, schools, higher education, vocational education and training (VET) and professional education. The collection also includes some information relevant to psychology, counselling and human resources.

Who was Cunningham?

Dr Kenneth Stewart Cunningham was the founding director of ACER, a position he held for 25 years.

Visiting the Library

Library members and other visitors may access the Cunningham Library by appointment only. Cunningham Library is not a participating library in the CAVAL Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme. See our contact details on this page to make an appointment.
