First time users to the MyAthens service

ACER staff can access Cunningham Library resources off-site, via a personal login, to a service called MyAthens.  Contact the Library for help with login details.  After login, links to Library resources are listed on the Cunningham Library panel.

Set up Instructions

Online Demonstration for Steps 3 to 5

  1. Login to MyAthens http://auth.athensams.net/my/
  2. Read and accept terms of use
  3. Change your allocated password via the MyAccount tab
  4. On the Home page of MyAthens, move the Cunningham Library panel from the bottom right of the screen to the top left of the screen.  Note: Panels are moved by first clicking on this icon Move icon, moving the panel to a new position and then ‘snapping’ the panel into the closest available position (shown by a dotted frame). 
  5. If you wish to list links to your favourite resources on the Home page of MyAthens , then click on the Resources Section link within the Favourite Resources panel and tick your favourite resources.  When you return Home, selected links will be listed in the Favourite Resources panel
