With more than 13 500 entries, the Education Research Theses database is a comprehensive source of the unique research found in doctoral and masters research theses accepted by Australian Universities in the field of education. The database is updated monthly and includes bibliographic citations and abstracts for theses ranging from the early twentieth century to those accepted as recently as this year. Links are provided to the full text of over 1000 online theses
How to access Education Research Theses
Online access to the database is provided by subscription from the ACER website. Institutional Libraries submitting their address to ACER can provide online searching to staff and students (see the list, below). Subscriptions for Australian universities vary according to university size. Subscriptions for overseas universities are AUD$250.00. As soon as an IP address is received, access is activated. Is your thesis on our database?
ACER is keen to include details about your thesis in the database. The thesis must be at doctoral or masters level and have already been accepted by an Australian university. Send a copy of the title pages, contents pages and the abstract to ert@acer.edu.au.
