The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is one of the world’s leading educational research centres, committed to creating and distributing research-based knowledge, products and services to improve learning across the lifespan in both formal and informal settings. ACER is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1930 that now has more than 300 staff based throughout Australia and overseas.
ACER Press is the publishing arm of ACER and publishes high-quality, evidence-based resources for use by professionals working in education, psychology, human resources and related areas. ACER Press publishes books, assessment instruments, kits and periodicals.
We are currently interested in considering proposals for publications in the following broad educational areas:
- educational leadership
- identification of and engagement with students in at-risk categories
- learning and learning difficulties
- effective learning and teaching strategies in curriculum areas
- understanding and developing school climate, culture and values.
All submitted proposals or manuscripts should be evidence- or research-based. To assist us in making an informed decision, we request that all authors complete the ACER Press publishing proposal form, which should accompany your proposal or manuscript.
