ACER Professional Learning Association

The ACER Professional Learning Association strives to gather together teachers and school leaders with a passion for professional learning.

The ACER Professional Learning Association will provide special events and networking that will support professional learning co-ordinators and others who have an interest in ongoing teacher learning.

Association members will receive privileged access to consultancy support from ACER to support the design and delivery of whole school or part school customised professional learning.

Association members will also receive value added support for their own professional learning through privileged access to ACER Centre for Professional Learning programs, ACER Press publications and the ACER Cunningham Library through a discount scheme.

The benefits :

On presentation of membership card or quoting of membership number members are eligible for a range of discounts for professional learning programs and other value added supports for ongoing teacher professional learning. Significantly, where there are a minimum of four ACER Professional Learning Association members in a school that school will have free access to in-school consultancy on the design and delivery of customised professional learning programs.

Benefits include:

  • Discount of 10% on all ACER Centre for Professional Learning workshops or ACER PLUS programs, in addition to any other applicable discount;
  • Discount of 10% on selected ACER Press publications on the day of the workshop or ACER PLUS program;
  • Discount of 5% on ACER Press published tests on the day of the workshop or ACER Plus program;
  • Discount of 5% on ACER Press published tests on the day of the workshop or ACER Plus program;
  • Discount of 10% membership of the ACER Cunningham Library;
  • Discount of 10% on subscriptions to Teacher magazine;
  • Direct email notification of all ACER Professional Learning workshops and programs;
  • Invitation to Special Events organised by the Centre for Professional Learning;
  • Free access to personalised consultancy and development of customised professional learning programs for schools with a minimum of four members.

How it will work:

To become a member of the ACER Professional Learning Association:

A membership card will be received by the member within two weeks of payment of fees. The membership card, with member number confirms membership and provides access to member benefits. Membership cards are not transferable.

Membership fees are payable for each calendar year and are valid for the duration of that calendar year.

 

What it will cost:

Membership fees for the ACER Professional Learning Association will be $27.50 each calendar year.

Membership fees include GST.
