Ms Kerry-Anne Hoad

Kerry-Anne joined ACER in 2001. Prior to this she worked in the UK at the University of North London as a course writer, lecturer and tutor. She wrote two curriculum books for this University - "Working with children with Special Educational Needs" and "Social and Philosophical Perspectives on Early Childhood Education". Kerry-Anne has worked in education in Australia for over 20 years at all levels - early childhood, primary, secondary, special education and tertiary education - and across all school sectors -government, catholic and independent. In the tertiary sector she has written course materials for the University of Ballarat and provided sessional lectures for the University of Ballarat , University of Melbourne , Swinburne University , Holmesglen TAFE and Chisholm TAFE. Her areas of research and practical interest are disability studies, deafness studies, early childhood education and adult learning. She brings a range of skills and a passion for providing educational practitioners with effective and useful access to recent research.
Kerry-Anne's role includes the management of ACER's International Institute and the management of ACER's annual Research Conference.
Ms Lynda Rosman
Education Consultant, Centre for Professional Learning
Lynda Rosman is the Educational Consultant with the Centre for Professional Learning - ACER and has been a teacher for over 25 years. She has worked in the government and independent sectors in both The Arts and ICT education P-12. Lynda’s previous position was as the Head of eLearning and she has also been a Head of Faculty in a number of schools. She is a published author of educational articles and course text books. She has presented papers on teaching and learning, art education, as well as the use of information communication technologies in education. Lynda has also worked in the ICT industry as an education consultant to a number of schools nationally and internationally.
Ms Jennie Hayes

Visiting International Faculty Program Manager
Visiting International Faculty Program Manager Jennie has joined ACER to manage the VIF (Visiting International Faculty) Program as part of the alliance between ACER and VIF which has established ACER as the official representative of the VIF Program in Australia.
She has extensive teaching experience in Victoria and South Australia across government and independent sectors, and has been heavily involved in senior secondary curriculum development and assessment for physics and mathematics. Jennie has authored physics textbooks and teachers’ guides for the VCE.
Combined with her educational knowledge and experience she has ten years of student recruitment experience in the university sector. Her particular interests are science and mathematics education and transition issues.
Ms Margaret Taylor
Administration Officer
Margaret has worked at ACER for over 20 years in a range of administrative roles. She has worked closely with both researchers and managers and brings well developed administrative procedures to the administration of all the Centre's professional learning programs. Margaret provides administrative support for the promotion, information dissemination, registration and financial processes of workshops, customised programs, international programs and the ACER Research Conference.
