The evaluation is to focus on diagnostic tools administered in the years K10, with special attention to the early years of schooling, the transition years from primary school to secondary school, and Year 9. ‘Diagnostic’ tools are defined as ‘tools that are used for identifying gaps in students’ literacy and numeracy skills’.
