Evaluation of the Deadly Awards

Description:

The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Music, Sport, Entertainment and Community Awards are known as the Deadly Awards.  Now in their 17th year, The Deadlys enjoy a high profile in Australia and have been shown to be an important source of pride and inspiration for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This evaluation identified what is working and what could be improved in relation to the Deadly Awards. The report provided Vibe Australia with a robust and transparent nomination and voting system that could be implemented in a cost effective way. The review was limited to improving the content and processes of the Deadly Awards program and consultation was limited to a small number of people who have substantial knowledge of the program.
