Academic Leadership Capabilities for Australian Higher Education

Description:

ACER collaborated with the University of Western Sydney and around a dozen Australian universities to design, develop and validate a leadership capability framework for Australian higher education. Through a large national survey of university leaders the project identified the distinctive capabilities of key roles, looked at the factors that shape leadership, produced insights on guiding change in universities, and highlighted optimal ways for learning leadership.
