ACER, together with NZCER and Fronde (an experienced ICT company) have been awarded the contract let by the Tertiary Education Commission in New Zealand to develop an assessment response tool for adult literacy and numeracy. ACER’s role in the project will be to undertake the item development and psychometric components of the work, which will be tailored specifically to the cultural, social and work contexts of New Zealand adult learners.
