ACER worked with the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) to initiate an Advisory Committee to provide insights on the definition and assessment of academic standards in higher education. The Advisory Committee brought together representatives from government, institutions and national agencies. Deliberations laid foundations for a new approach to quality assurance in Australian higher education.
