Current best practice approaches to improving consistency in teacher judgments

Description:

This investigative project seeks information about best practice in ensuring consistency of teacher judgments against P-10 state-wide standards, in the context of the Blueprint for Government Schools and the Victorian Government’s ongoing commitment to improving student learning outcomes in the compulsory years of schooling. The report of the investigation will provide key baseline information to guide further work on the development and implementation of a coherent approach that will link to, and build upon, the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS), progression points, continua, assessment maps and other policy, advice and support materials that have already been developed.
