Evaluation of New Basics Research Program

Description:

The purpose of this project is to provide advice to Education Queensland through an independent evaluation of the New Basics trial being undertaken through the New Basics Branch. During 2003-2004 the project will result in a third interim formative evaluations of the conduct of the New Basics trial and a summative report outlining the strengths and weaknesses of the New Basics based on evidence from the trial. That report wills also consider the viability and scope of the New Basics for limited and/or system wide implementation; and the identification of areas in need of further review or analysis and areas for further research. It is intended to produce a meta analysis of all data associated with the trial.
