Family Expectations and Post-school Plans

Description:

This project was commissioned by The Smith Family (TSF) in 2006 with the purpose of gaining a better understanding of the inter-relationships between family expectations and young people’s plans, if any, for post-school education. The project combined a major literature review with intensive case studies of a small number of disadvantaged young people and their families.

The main report, Australian Young People: their stories, their families and post-school plans, and an extended literature review, Australian young people, their families and post-school plans: a research review, are available on The Smith Family website. http://www.thesmithfamily.com.au
