This research involved identifying the usage trends and impact of Toolboxes and learning objects in the VET sector. It required an online national survey of practitioners and students in TAFEs, Registered Training Organisations and VET in schools, phone interviews and several site visits. The research was devised to provide feedback on areas for product enrichment both technically and in learning design; assist in the alignment of the learning styles and methodologies of Toolbox products with provider models of delivery and their students’ learning styles; and identify the level and kind of support needed national for providers and individuals in VET.
