A new PATMaths test, PATMaths Plus was developed in 2009 for a new set of test forms from Year 1 to Year 10.  These new tests are available online. For Years 3 to 10 the tests are a little more difficult than the corresponding tests in PATMaths Third Edition. All of the items in these new tests are calibrated on the PATMaths scale described in the PATMaths Third Edition Teacher Manual.  An accompanying PATMaths Plus Teacher Manual Online Edition provides Australian norms and a descriptive scale for each of the tests in a variety of reporting formats. The source of most of the new items was three new test forms developed by NZCER after the publication of PATMaths Third Edition in 2006.  Some new items for the lower primary years were selected from ACER I Can Do Maths and from the ACER Learning Difficulties projects.
