RMIT University engaged ACER to validate and enhance its academic promotions procedures. The review was prompted by a belief of senior university executives that promotions procedures should be efficient, reliable and valid. The work involved review and analysis of institutional contexts, development of revised procedures and materials, and training panellists in the use of the new system.
