ACER led an investigation into the demographic makeup, mode of study, level of satisfaction and post study outcomes for higher education students who study in regional areas. Building on a review of submissions and the research literature, this involved analysis of several large-scale data files and the production of an integrated policy-focused report. The results of the study provided a knowledge base to inform DEEWR’s review of regional loading for higher education institutions.
