Western Australian Cohort Testing Reading, Spelling and Numeracy Yrs 3, 5 and 7 (WALNA)

Description:

This project involves the development of items in reading, spelling and numeracy for the Year 3, Year 5 and Year 7. The program requires close and on-going consultation with WA Monitoring Standards in Education personnel on all aspects of the test development, including issues of reliability and validity for reading, writing, spelling and numeracy, together with the trailing of items, reporting on their performance and recommendations of items to be included in the final WALNA forms for each cohort. The contract requires that all supplementary documentation and test forms for the program be brought to camera ready stage in liaison with the nominated print contractor.
