Research Digest for the NSWIT

Description:

The NSW Institute of Teachers (NSWIT) commissioned ACER to prepare periodic digests of about eight pages summarising key research findings on topical issues in schooling, and drawing out their implications for teachers. Four issues were produced in 2007-2009. , The digests are distributed electronically by the NSWIT to registered teachers in NSW. The Institute has established arrangements with other Australian teacher registration authorities for further distribution to teachers in other states and territories.

A new contract has been signed for the production of four more digests in 2009-2010. The first of these was completed in June 2009. The work is being led by Ms Marion Meiers with support from Ms Pat Knight and Ms Jennifer Trevitt in the Cunningham Library. ACER researchers with specific expertise contribute to this project.
