Non-formal Literacy Placement Assessment in VET

This project is looking at examples of good practice in initial assessment of adult literacy skills for placement purposes. Six small case studies will be undertaken as part of this project. While the focus is on VET, examples of work in other education settings will also be considered. The aim is to find assessment processes that do not rely on formal testing.
