Refund Policy

Parents and candidates are urged to think very carefully before registering for a scholarship at any school.

Please note that schools choose at which year levels they will be offering scholarships, and you will need to view each school’s website to check if a scholarship for your child’s year level is being offered, and whether your child is eligible for the scholarship. If you register for a scholarship test and are ineligible and require a refund, you will be charged a $15 administration fee if you request the refund prior to the school's registration closing date, or $30 after the closing date. Please note you will not be refunded for preparation material that has already been dispatched.

Registration Fee Refunds

Requests for refunds should be sent via email to scholarships@acer.edu.au. The email should include the reason(s) for seeking the refund, and a copy of the online payment receipt. If your child was unwell and could not sit the test, a medical certificate from a GP should be scanned and attached to the email.
Refunds will be paid to the credit card that was used for the registration, and incur a $15 administration fee prior to the school's registration closing date or $30 after the closing date.
Refunds will NOT be issued after the close of registrations for cooperative schools.

Preparation Material Refunds
Refunds for hard-copy Sample Question Booklets will only be approved if received prior to despatch.
No refunds for Online Sample Questions are available.
