Alternate Date Tests

Candidates who have applied for Alternate Date schools should sit the test at each school on their nominated test date. 

Check whether the schools you have applied for are Cooperative or Alternate Date in the 'Participating School List' on the left.

What is the process if I live a long way from the school and would like to sit the test at my child's current school?
For selected alternate date schools (you will need to check with the individual school) candidates can sit the test at another school campus, or at your child's local school.

For the schools that do offer this option, if you live more than 200kms from the school, you can organise a Non-ACER Test Centre.  Parents should select 'Non-ACER Exam Centre' as their Exam Centre during the online registration process, if this option is available.  Otherwise please email scholarships@acer.edu.au as soon as possible to organise this. 

Parents will need to source a supervisor for the test (must be a registered teacher, experienced exam invigilator or church minister) as well as an appropriate venue (local school, library, hall, etc).
Please note strict deadlines apply to candidates requesting to sit the test at a Non-ACER Test Centre.  ACER must receive your request NO LATER than 4 weeks prior to the school's test date.

Candidates applying for Alternate Date schools testing on Saturday 23 February 2013 ONLY, can sit at an ACER Test Centre if they are more than 200kms from the school.  You should select 'Non-ACER Test Centre' as the Exam Centre during online registration, and then email your preferred ACER Test Centre to scholarships@acer.edu.au immediately after registering.
