Dr Routitsky is a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Council for Educational Research in the National and International Surveys research program.

In 1998 she joined national teams of the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). At present, she works as a member of the PISA international team.

Recent research work includes comparative analysis in international assessment, and use of technology in Mathematics education.
