Mr Gary Kelly

Mr Gary Kelly is the Financial Controller for the Australian Council for Educational Research.

Gary is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Gary has over thirty years experience in accounting and financial management encompassing manufacturing, public administration, taxation and business services, international marketing, and research and development.  Gary has held senior financial roles with a range of small, medium and large Australian and international organisations and has fulfilled the role of Board Secretary and Secretary to the Finance and Audit Committee.

Gary commenced as Financial Controller with ACER in February 2006 and he leads a team which has responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and superannuation, banking and cash management, fixed asset accounting, salary packaging, motor fleet leasing, budgeting, financial reporting, external audit liaison, insurance and taxation.
