Mr Greg Macaskill is a Research Fellow in the National and International Surveys research program at the Australian Council for Educational Research.

At present, he is part of the team working on the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) project. He was initially involved in the analysis of the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and contributed to the Technical Reports for this study. As well as these major projects Mr Macaskill has also worked on the analysis of other projects such as the West Australian Monitoring Standards in Education (WAMSE) program, and produced Access database software for the Key Competency project funded by DEET.

Prior to joining ACER in March 1996, Mr Macaskill was joint author of several papers in Medical Statistics while working in the Department of Medicine at the University of Melbourne.
