Ms Jacqueline Moore is a Research Fellow (Test Developer) in the Assessment and Reporting research program at the Australian Council for Educational Research.
As part of the senior humanities team at ACER, Ms Moore works on a range of testing programs including the General Achievement Test (GAT), the ACT Scaling Test (AST), the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP) and the International Student Admissions Test (ISAT). Since 2006, she has managed the development of test materials in the curriculum area of Society and the Environment, for the WAMSE (Western Australian Monitoring Standards in Education) state-wide testing program. This work is carried out in collaboration with measurement officers from the WA Department of Education.
Prior to joining ACER in 2003, Ms Moore taught English/ESL and SOSE in secondary schools both in Victoria and the Northern Territory for a period of ten years. In addition, she spent two years writing SOSE curriculum support materials for Indigenous students living in remote communities across Australia’s ‘top-end’.
