 Ms Judy Nixon joined ACER in 2003 and is a Research Fellow (Test Developer) in the Assessment and Reporting research program at ACER.

Within the senior humanities test development team, she has managed test development for the General Achievement Test. She is also involved in test development of the UMAT, Australian Scaling Test (AST) and the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program. Judy currently manages test development for the VCAA/DEECD Sample Assessment Project.

Judy is currently undertaking PhD studies in Educational Psychology at Monash.

After graduating from the University of Melbourne with a combined major in English and History, Judy taught in both state and private secondary schools. She has also worked for the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) in examination assessment for both English and Literature.
