Ms Marian Power is the Consultant Psychologist in ACER Press at the Australian Council for Educational Research.

She manages the Test Administration service and Press Products Consultancy, which offer the administration, scoring and interpretation of tests to ACER’s clients as well as consulting in a range of organisational development scenarios.

Her background includes working as a research assistant at Latrobe University and as an Organisational Psychologist/Equal Opportunity and HR Manager in federal, state and local government bodies. Her role at ACER involves the provision of advice to psychologists throughout the country regarding the selection of the most appropriate assessment instruments for their particular purpose. It also incorporates the provision of accreditation training in the use of restricted tests.
Ms Power is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, the College of Organisational Psychologists, the Australian Association for Psychological Type, the Australian Human Resources Institute, and the Australian Association of Careers Counsellors. She was a member of the Victorian Psychologists Registration Board from 2001-2003.
