Ms Robyn Dodds is a Project Director in the Assessment Services Division at ACER. In this position she is responsible for the management of a range of secondary school selection tests which are used to identify academically gifted students for accelerated learning or enhancement programs, as well as fully and partially selective entry programs.
The tests include the Higher Ability Selection Test (HAST) which is currently used in Australia and Singapore, the Government of Western Australia’s Gifted and Talented Selective Entrance Test, South Australia’s Secondary Assessment Program for Gifted Children (IGNITE), the Queensland Government’s Queensland Academies Student Entrance Test and the Hong Kong Higher Ability Student Test (HAST).
Ms Dodds has considerable experience in project management at ACER having previously been Project Director for the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP), the Vocational Selection Test (VST) and the Migration Advice Profession Knowledge Entrance Examination (MAPKEE).
Prior to working at ACER Ms Dodds worked in post-production, research and project management roles in the independent film sector, commercial television and ABC Television and Radio. She has tertiary qualifications in media, communications, professional writing and quantitative and qualitative research methods.
