Ms Zoumboulis is a member of the Science, Mathematics and Technology test development team at ACER. She has worked on a number of test development projects including NAPLAN, the ACER International Schools Assessment (ISA), International Benchmark Test (IBT) in Science, Western Australia Moderating Standards in School Education (WAMSE) Science 2009, New South Wales Opportunity Class Placement Test and Selective High Schools Test and the New Zealand Adult Numeracy Assessment.

Ms Zoumboulis was recruited to the math/science test development team at ACER at the end of 2007. She brings recent experience of Mathematics and Science teaching at all levels of secondary school. With a strong passion for creative curriculum development and assessment, Ms Zoumboulis successfully taught Science and Mathematics to students with a wide range of ability levels.

Ms Zoumboulis’ research interests include the identification of common student misconceptions in Science and Mathematics and the relationship between learning and assessment.
