Steven Dover is Director, Human Resources.
 
Steven has over 25 years senior management experience in change management and human resource related positions within the public, private and consulting sectors. This experience has seen Steven lead a wide range of strategic people management functions such as; leadership development; mentoring, human resource strategy, employee relations and health and safety much of which has occurred in a significant change environment. Most recently Steven was the Associate Director of Career and Workforce Development at The Australian National University in Canberra.
 
Steven and his team is responsible (in partnership with all managers and staff) for the human resource function including; human resource strategy; recruitment and retention; professional learning; diversity; organisation and leadership development; organisation culture; employee relations; employment conditions; and occupational health and safety across ACER’s national and international office network.
 
Steven holds a Master of Tertiary Education Management (Melbourne University 2010) and a Graduate Diploma in Organisation Change (RMIT 1993) and is a:
·       Certified Profession with the Australian Institute of Human Resources (CPAHRI),
·       Member of the Australian Association for Tertiary Education Management (MATEM)
·       Member of the Australian Institute of Management (MAIM)
·       Global Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (MSHRM)
 
Steven is an early adopter of technology and is an active member of LinkedIn and other social media networks.
