Viv Acker has been with ACER since 2004. Initially in a temporary capacity as an Assistant to the CEO, and then from 2005 in a permanent position as the Senior Administrative Officer to the Deputy CEO Professional Resources.  In 2007 Viv was appointed as the Senior Project Leader in the ACER Leadership Centre.  In 2010, Viv joined the Educational Monitoring and Research Division as Senior Administrative Officer in the Teaching, Learning and Transitions Program and more recently, was also appointed to the position of Project Director – Principal For A Day.

Prior to joining ACER, Viv was with the Mercer Group for 18 years as the Executive Assistant to the Worldwide Partner in the Human Capital Division. In this position, Viv assisted and supported 8 global faculties (+12 members in each faculty) across Australasia, Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, North America and United Kingdom with scheduling and coordinating of meetings, conferences and management of their Intellectual Capital utilising the livelink libraries. Viv also liaised with the Global Knowledge Management team (based in Europe) with updates changes and amendments for the Performance, Measurement & Rewards intranet project site. Since joining ACER Viv has worked on several projects including: Australian Certificate of Education (ACE), Curriculum and Achievements Standards (CAS), Visiting International Faculty Program (VIFP), NAPLAN Evidence-Led Leaders Series Workshops, Principal For A Day (PFAD) and the Technical Leadership Program. Viv has extensive experience in all aspects of project management, both within the Professional Resources and Research Divisions of ACER, including excellent organisational and time management skills.
