Mr Phillip Arthur
Manager, System Testing

Phillip Arthur joined ACER as Manager of System Testing in 2004. Phillip has managed key aspects of a variety of state and national testing programs.
Mr Arthur has held management roles with education departments in New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and South Australia. As Group Manager of the Learning Technologies Projects Section in the Victorian Department of Education he had responsibility for a range of projects that focused on enhancing student learning using ICTs.
Mr Arthur coordinated the establishment of the Open Learning Technology Corporation (now education.au Limited) in Adelaide, and was foundation manager of the Centre for Teaching and Learning in the ACT Department of Education and Training. He has worked in industry and has undertaken consultancies in distance education, teacher professional development, and the educational use of technologies at State, national and international levels.
Phillip was Project Officer for Science, Physics and Geology in the South Australian department of education. Mr Arthur has more than a decade Science and Physics teaching experience in South Australia, Victoria and New Zealand.
