Ms Deirdre Jackson

Ms Deirdre Jackson is the Director, of the Assessment Services Division at the Australian Council for Educational Research.
Ms Jackson is responsible for the management of high stakes, selection programs for schools, universities, education systems and corporate groups within Australia and internationally.
The role of staff in Assessment Services includes marketing, business development, client liaison as well as project managing the development and administration of tests and the analysis and reporting of results. Assessment services are provided in either online or paper based format.
Ms Jackson came to ACER following fifteen years at RMIT where she was most recently employed as Manager of Industry Services coordinating the commercial activities of faculties across the University, in the areas of Short Courses, Customised Training and Consultancy. Prior to that she had managed the Industry Training and Consultancy Unit, in the Faculty of Business and in the School of Communications and Social Science. Deirdre has extensive teaching experience in the areas of English and Communication Skills.
Ms Jackson has had experience in, project managing and developing national learning materials, including some module writing, through the development in of Commonwealth Public Administration National Modules. She is a trained Workplace Assessor with special expertise in Public Administration and Project Management assessments.
A specific expertise Ms Jackson brings is the ability to structure, manage and operate successfully within complex national and international partnership arrangements and she has been instrumental in the development of successful business partnerships in India, Malaysia, South Africa, the Philippines, the UK and Ireland.
