Ms Pamela Macklin

Pamela Macklin Ms Pamela Macklin is the Deputy CEO (Professional Resources) at the Australian Council for Educational Research.

She leads and manages ACER's work to provide high-quality, research-based products and services to support the professional learning and work of practitioners. This involves working with and supporting the management team of the Professional Resources Division to develop integrated solutions to the professional needs of practitioners, with a strong focus on expanding the range of professional products and services provided by ACER, both domestically and internationally.

Ms Macklin is an experienced senior executive, teacher, education consultant and writer. She joined ACER in 2005, bringing with her significant experience in the development and management of major curriculum, assessment and professional development projects.

Her interests lie in educational leadership, educational policy, curriculum and assessment, school improvement and the management of organisational change and improvement. Her national and international work has focused on education reform and has included the development of policy and implementation strategies in areas such as ICT in education, literacy, numeracy and gender equity.
